The Talking Tree

Our Talking Tree project will provide information about sustainability twenty four hours a day! We plan to create a network of Talking Trees to educate and inform.

Using local sources and as little embodied energy as possible, the main component will be a fallen tree with two photovoltaic solar panels attached to the main branches . The tree will be installed in an upright position with a wind generator as the crowning glory! It will be a sustainable focal point making it ideal for educating. In the shelter you would find a wind-up black box that will give out audible information linked to an interactive LCD display.

The idea is to set up a network of Talking Trees throughout the world connecting like-minded people like you with love in their hearts.
