Say no to fluoride Dear Editor, - There has been recent media coverage on adding fluoride to our drinking water. If the public wants to add fluoride to their diet they can buy it in toothpaste, mouth gargle and many more products. They have a choice. When fluoride is put into our drinking water, the freedom to choose is taken from us. Fluoride is a poisonous chemical, as is chlorine; but chlorine is very different. It is put inot our water supply to purify it and kill germs; it disperses in your drinking glass and you can boil it safely. With fluoride, it comes through your taps and, when boiled, it concentrates the levels of fluoride accumulate. In Pembrokeshire, fluoride is not added artificially to our water supply, neither is it in many European countries. Let's keep our freedom of choice and our water pure. -- D.
