Mission Statement

We are a non-political association of individuals and organizations with interests in ecology or sustainability.

The field of sound believes in decentralizing and empowering small businesses in local communities.

The field of sound believes in keeping value produced within the community to remain in and enrich the community from where it was produced.

There will be an emphasis on communication, and networking with other communities in similar circumstances worldwide.

We will act locally and think globally.  We will be a fair trade company.  Eventually we wish to be self-funding.  There will be two sides to the field of sound; 1) Field of Sound -- the charity, 2) Field of Sound -- the commercial operations.
